THE FIELD GUIDE

Aim. Flick. Feathers.

  1. Make a finger gun. Point your index, or index and middle fingers, toward the screen. Raise your thumb and fold your ring and little fingers. Keep your whole hand in view.
  2. Point to aim. Keep your hand comfortable and steer with your finger and wrist. The crosshair follows your calibrated finger direction. Its circle shows the shotgun spread. Before play, point comfortably at the centre for about one second. Small natural movement is fine. Press C or Spacebar to instantly centre the crosshair on your current pointing direction.
  3. Flick your wrist upward. A small, quick upward tilt or lift fires at your aim just before the flick. Keep your hand inside the camera box; you do not need a big arm lift. Lower your hand slightly to ready the next shot.

Six shells. Automatic reload when empty, or press R. Smaller chickens earn more points. Hit consecutive shots to build a combo.
